Local-first workspace data
mdworkspace is designed around a local-first workspace. Your browser workspace, imported files, assets, markdown, and exports are intended to stay under your control unless you choose to use a cloud, sharing, connector, support, or checkout feature.
Information we may process
- Account information such as email, display name, OAuth provider profile details, and session metadata.
- Billing and subscription status received from external checkout or membership providers.
- Support ticket content and related account status when you contact support.
- Workspace share metadata, public share snapshots, allowlists, comments, and view usage when you use sharing features.
- Connector usage metadata needed to authenticate, route, rate limit, and audit ChatGPT-connected workspace actions.
Payments and third parties
Payments and subscriptions are handled by external checkout providers. mdworkspace may receive purchase, membership, plan, and payment status signals so your account can be granted the right access, but payment card details are handled by the payment provider.
How information is used
- To provide the workspace, account, sharing, support, connector, and paid-plan features.
- To keep access limits, billing status, fraud prevention, and operational logs accurate.
- To respond to support requests and improve product reliability.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce legal and product limits.
Data control and deletion
You can export your workspace data from the app. For account, billing, support, or hosted-share deletion requests, contact support from the website so the request can be matched to the right account.
